Default Sync Outlok on laptop to BB9000 Bold

Please Login to Remove!

Good Day All
I'm a newbie to BB. I would like to simply sync my contact and calendar details in Outlook on my laptop (Vista) directly to my BB9000 Bold.
I have downloaded the latest Desktop Manager software from BB, however I am unable to find where to do this.
Would someone please advise me on how to achieve this?
Many thanks in anticipation.

Wirelessly posted (Tmob's cheapest BB customer)

Make sure you have your device connected to your computer via the USB cable. Then open up BB desktop manager and you should see an option for "Synch." If you explore further into the Config Synch options you'll come across a place for you to set what types of programs you want to use to synch your data with. For me since I only have and use Outlook I didn't have to make any setting changes, it was pretty much automatic.

Thanks for the reply. My issue was apparently not with the BB Desktop Manager software (I had already attempted several times to do what you suggested), it was the lack of third party software fo Outlook.
I've downloaded and am trialling CompanionLink software, wich has allowed me to sync my Outlook Business Manager modules with my BB9000.
So far so good. I did this with the USB cable, I guess the next step is to do it via Bluetooth from the laptop.
Again thanks for the reply.
