Default Calander synch problems w/Outlook

I am connected to a BES server in another location (corp hdqtrs), I use Lotus Notes for my email service. I use Outlook for my address book, calander, notes, memo. My problem that my calander feature always reverts back to wireless snch instead of staying selected to outlook. I have gone into configure PIM and selected outlook and even changed it in the options area of calander on the handheld. Is this a configuration problem on the BES server at headquarters?
