Default Installing BES for Exchange !

Please Login to Remove!

Is it possible to install BES, just for extending web and custom java applications to Blackberry devices without configuring the BES with MS Exchange for mail access ?

I dont want to use Blackberry devices for email access. I just want to develop web applications and custom java applications and extend these applications using BES. So setting up MS EXCHANGE with BES is an un-necessary task for me.

Can I avoid that ? Is it possible ?
