Default Need some help

Please Login to Remove!

Hello all, I bought a used 7280 off ebay. It cannot make outgoing phone calls and doesnt ring when called. It says on emergency calls are able to be made. I bought this as a spare incase something happened to my 7100. I did put my own sim card from my working 7100 and thats what i get. Anyone know what I can do? I have tried to wipe all data and even installed new upgraded software. Any help is appreciated.

Sounds like your phone is in emergency mode. I don't have the manual near to tell you where to change this, but a quick Google can find you the manual. I know its on Blackberry's site.

Call your carrier if nothing else and they will be able to talk you through changing this as well.

No it is not a trade secret but viewing and knowing what to tell you as an answer are two different things. Learn patience my man, no one here gets paid to help and you do know what does seem to be a trade secret. The frigging blue search button at the top of the page.

You are in such a hurry for a phone that is only a spare in case something happens to your other one that you cant search? Look what i got after i did a simple "emergency call" search:

Or is it easier for someone to do it for you and give you the answer. Get off your duff and dont be so lazy next time rather than get sarcastic because everyone is ignoring a lazy individual. I mean there are 39 responses here I am sure one of them will address your problem.
