Default Upgrade Device Question

Quick Question, I have a BlackBerry 7100t now. If at any time I decide to upgrade to another BlackBerry such as the new 8700, is there anyway to export my Bookmarks from the Browser or Saved Messages so I can get them on my new device? Thanks

plug old device into usb, backup. Plug new device into usb, install from backup....
