just got a long email (no attachement) half way down no more info is displayed. display at bottom of page says "more available 2232 bytes" ok, so i press the wheel select "more" but nothing happens even after a while no more message comes down.

seperate matter, whats the best 3rd party app to read attachments mainly word and excel.

Click on "Messages" icon
Click on Thumbwheel and scroll down/choose "Options"
Click on "General Options"
Scroll down to "Auto More:" make sure it's "Yes"
Save setting.

When you receive lengthy message, more messages will be retrieved when you reach the "more available..." message.

don't know about 3rd party attachment readers 'coz my 7290 came loaded with file viewers for the typical file types.

Which carrier are you on? Which BlackBerry model? Are you on a BES?

Try resending your service books; try upgrading BlackBerryOS. This shouldn't be happening.

BlackBerry already includes a Word document viewer.

Here's your solution to the "more" issue: go to the web client and resend your service books. I had the same issue and that cleared it up immediately.

my BB is a 7290, no word viewer to my knowledge. incoming email shows an attachement but no way to download or read it.

ok, info i have suggests that i need to be on BES to receive attachements. I am currently using redirect from my desktop.
does this mean i will not be able to receive attachements or open them?

If you are not on BES what i would do is Unistall the desktop manager and reinstall without the redirector feature.
