Cool Block e-mail?

Please Login to Remove!

Is there any way to block e-mail addresses so as not to receive any more from these addresses?

go into your webclient and make a filter of it for the address, and set it to not forward to your blackberry. And put it destination to the deleted folder.

Your webclient thru your provider...then setup a filter for specific address's to go into the trash. This is not done on your handheld itself.

Dumb enough for you yet?

The advice in the prior posts is correct, but see if this helps make things more clear:

If you are receiving email via BES (i.e., your corporate email through your company's server), then you can block emails from that specific address through Outlook/Lotus/etc. Set up a rule/filter on your corporate computer to send emails from the specific address directly to your deleted items/trash. You can also enter the email address into your SPAM filter if available.

If you are receiving email via BIS/Web Client (i.e., a Blackberry Internet based personal account), then you may be able to do the same thing from your main email provider (Yahoo!/AOL/etc.). Doing this will ensure that the emails never even get to your BB account. You can also enter the email address into your SPAM filter if available. If your main email provider does not have an option to filter/block email or add to the SPAM filter, then you can set up a filter on the BIS web page. Log into your carrier's Blackberry Internet Service website (you carrier should, and Blackberry does, have a link on their site), and then look for the filter option. Create a filter for the email address and have those emails sent directly to trash.

Hope that helps get you started.
