Default "Delete on" mailbox vs "Keep Messages"

Please Login to Remove!

I'm trying to figure out the correct email reconciliation options.

If I have "Delete on" set to "Mailbox & Handheld," and I have "Keep Messages" set to "30 days," will the messages also be deleted from my mailbox after the 30 days expires? Or does it just delete from the mailbox if I explicitly delete the message (this is the behavior I want)?

I'm using a 7290 with BES.

Thanks.

I believe after 30days then it'll delete off of Outlook if you havent already explicitly deleted them on the BB 7290. The Mailbox & Handheld setting should delete on the Inbox as well.

but I suggest a serious search to see if this is already listed.

After 30 days the messages will be removed from your BB. Nothing will happen to them in your emal client. The messages are simple removed from the BB to save space.
