Default Outlook Contacts Email addresses not showing on BB

Please Login to Remove!

We run BES and when I update a contact in outlook to include 3 email addresses only two are showing on my blackberry.

I know I can add up to three email addresses manually to the blackberry but quite a lot of my contacts on Outlook have three and I wondered if there was a solution without having to add the email addresses to the blackberry directly.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Your post caught my eye..I am aware that you can enter three e-mail addresses in Outlook but when I edit a contact on my 9530, I show only two e-mail slots. Are you certain you can enter three e-mail addresses through the handheld?

I don't think you can. My BBs show only home and work addresses.

Yes I have an 8900 and if you edit contact up to three email addresses can be added.
But when it syncs with the BES only two come accross in the contact even through three are listed in outlook contact.

Please tell me how you do this. Because when I go into edit, it only shows home and work.

Now I feel really dumb. I missed on little work in original post (and subsequent ones as well)....."email". I was just reading addresses.

Onebyte, I'm not sure why your BES is not syncing all three. I have two BBs, the 8900 on BIS (which is synced through DM) and the 8830 on BES (synced through BES). I use the same contacts list on both and I have multiple entries with three email addresses. Both BBs have all three. Maybe it's a setting on the BES?

Now, how about those that have 4 or 5 email addresses. Any way around just entering in the notes section? LOL

No problem I suppose that if you are getting all three email addresses coming across this must just be a setting on the BES software. I will have a look at the BES server and see if there is something specific there.

But if anyone knows of a solution if its not BES related please the help would be appreciated.

Are you sure your contacts are properly syncing wirelessly? Are other changes getting synced?

Great find onebyte. I had never noticed this before. I am on a BES as well and I just checked a contact with three e-mails. All show on my handheld. Contacts with just one e-mail address in Outlook show just one additional space. I am not that familiar with the BES so I will leave that to the experts but an educated guess would say it is a setting on the server.

I just checked the BES server and the only settings I can see in there to do with email addresses is the PIM Global Field Mappings - These are set to map all three email addresses to the BB Device.
