Does anybody use there BlackBerry to do email for there eBay business? I am considering getting a BlackBerry to do the 150 emails a day I receive for eBay auctions. I would be curious to hear anybody’s experiences with eBay on a BlackBerry.

Without a doubt a great device for ebay sellers. I use mine all the time. You can even answer questions from sellers thru the eBay system. If you are into eBay a Blackberry is nice.

It's a great eBay tool. I don't sell stuff that often, but when I do, the BlackBerry is very useful for it. Auction notifications, correspondence with buyers/sellers, etc. I even even bid through my BlackBerry, if I need to (have done it once). I do have my GMAIL mirrored to my BlackBerry, so I can deal with GMAIL if I don't feel like doing it all on my BlackBerry.

Thanks for the input. We sell quite a bit of golf equipment on eBay. I am currently on Verizon and using a Samsung i730. The i730 is to prone to lock ups and requires too many reboots. I don't have access to an exchange server, so I guess that I would be using the BlackBerry Web Client.

How do eBay's emails display on a blackberry? I have heard comments that the disclaimers and warnings that eBay inserts into emails makes it too long and difficult to read on a BlackBerry.

I use the BB for my eBay all of the time. My customers really appreciate the quick e-mail answers. I use it while I am in the shipping store to inform them of the tracking information. That is a huge hit! As for the disclaimers, they are not too bad and do not even come close to the being a problem compared to the up side of using the BB.

Check out Abidia; it summerises your my.ebay.com page and you can bid from it.

BES version works on my 7520.

Default me too

I also use the BB a lot to reply to questions, watch items, etc. It's great. The meat of the message is usually way down at the bottom, but on most messages, the subject line tips you off about the content, and you can always use the page down (9) feature to quickly scroll past the disclaimers without breaking your thumb.
