My Black Berry Pearl 8100 doesn't have Tasks and Memo applications. How to install the same. I checked under Options->Advanced Options-> Applications but no luck. Also, I tried through desktop manager CD and I didn't find any applications to install. Can some one help on this?

I don't have a pearl but try this:

Connect your phone and open desktop manager. Go to Application Loader. Click Start under Add/Remove Applicaitons. Scroll through the list, look for the applications you want to install and make sure you select the checkboxes. You can then load these on the device and should be good to go.

thats odd.

You need to make sure that the latest version of the OS for your Blackberry is installed on the desktop. Then, through desktop manager you can add those to your device.
