I am thinking about taking the plunge and getting a Curve. I have Verizon and we get a 20% discount through work. I was looking at the Verizon site and I am not sure if I can justify the unlimited data plan. My husband has a Storm, and he gets his email and uses the internet just fine and does not have that $45 package.
I do not use my phone for business, I would just want to use personal aol email, web and hook up to some apps. There is a family share plan that my husband and I could sign up for that says data sent and received included. Would that be fine for what I need? When I talk to a sales rep, I don't want to get talked into something more than what I need.
What would teh difference be with that data plan and the Blackberry one. I looked through the FAQ but couldn't find what I was looking for.
On Verizon, you'll automatically be subscribed to a BlackBerry Data Plan when you activate the phone.
There's no way around that.
Of the two BlackBerry plans that Verizon offers, you should only need the $29.99 per month plan for yourself. The more expensive plan is for Enterprise use, if you're attaching your device to a BlackBerry Enterprise Server.
Thank you, I think that plan that kept coming up on the site was throwing me off. I think with our discount the second plan is around $24. That doesn't hurt as much.
