Default Blackberry professional software

My it&s guy finished implementing bb professional program and I need to figure out next steps. What do I need to do on my phone to connect? I tried entering my email, password and activation server in enterprise activation (used exchange address) but I can't connect. Has anyone used this program and can you give me some ideas on what I need to do to get it to work?
