Default can't use apps that i download on my curve

Please Login to Remove!

I am a noob!

I have a 8230 curve that I got from ebay. It had an IT Policy on it so I removed it. I put my tmobile sim card in it SMS and phone work. the internet has some issues, (becuase i don't have data plan) (i use wifi). I downloaded opera mini on my computer and i put it on my BB, but i cant install it. the error message says ...

"the application operette$2dhifi has attempted to open a connection to a location inside the firewall and outside the firewall which is not allowed by your IT policy."

so i tried to turn off my firewall and i couldn't disable it. i am confused. I removed my IT policy so i could disable my password (the password could not be disabled). Now i cant disable my firewall? wat can i do?

I just want to use opera mini

seems as if you didn't remove the IT Policy.

Options ->Security -> Firewall, disable it

If the Red lock is still there then find the FAQ article about removing the IT policy.
8830 -> 8330 -> 9550 -> 9650
Just think about how far BlackBerries have come from then till now... And what else is coming.
