Default Left or Right handed?

Please Login to Remove!

Hey guys. I'm right handed and earlier for some reason I grabbed my BB with my left hand and tried to use it but it did not feel right. It seems to me anyway that the device mainly the track wheel is harder to use with your finger rather than the thumb on your right hand.

So my question is which hand are you and left handers do you adapt to using the BB with your finger rather than your thumb.

Just curious.

The only time I use my BB in my left hand is when I have a martini in the right.

Default right hander!

yea you know something about blackberrys and there Un amidextious design.... they are supposed to be, but every here do this, pick up the BB with your left and, bam, how wierd does that feel?? i know its true and to use the jog dial with your index finger is torture. but on the other hand (no pun intended) my 7100g is way to hard to input text with two hands as well. im still loving the trusty T9 its way faster http://www.textfast.t9.com/

I am right handed and use my BB left handed. All the fingers grip the BB except the middle one which I use for scrolling and the ESC key. Then I can use my right hand for keyboard shortcuts and the ENTER key. I find it way faster... If you use the BB in your right hand then you have to bend your thumb at a sharper angle...

Well, I never really even thought about it until now. So I had to try it in both hands because I couldn't remeber wether I used my left or right hand without picking up my BB. But is seems that I am able to utilize the device from either hand equally as well. That leaves me free for a drink in either hand!

That would actually make it a quadruple post but who’s counting.

i'm ambiguous (handed), but i lefty the bb. just for the record there are actually four handedness(ess): left handed (10% of the populace), right handed and ambiguous and ambidextrous (which are actually just grouped, statistically, with leftys). and true ambi's are very rare. ok, who yelled out TMI!?!

Make it a Dirty Martini!

I'm a lefty and use my 8100 quite well with either hand really. Used to have a 7100 and that presented more challenges...
