I installed the Desktop Manager and Roxio setup on my Acer Aspire One netbook yesterday. Previously, I had installed in on a Dell desktop system and used the Roxio software to transfer some music onto my Pearl Flip.

When I finished the install, I hooked up the Blackberry to the netbook. So far so good, but when I tried to open up the Media Manager, I got an error that basically said that the Roxio software required a 1024x800 screen resolution. The Acer uses 1024x600 resolution. Ah well, no Roxio it appears!

I had no problem using the Mass Storage Mode to transfer music from the netbook to the Flip, though. I guess I'll just have to use the desktop if I'm messing with video!

Yep, it's a requirement of Roxio.

There was a previous thread on this forum regarding this issue where Roxio wouldn't even show up and it had come to the exact same conclusion. This was also on an Acer One.
