Default DO IM's use up text credit?

Please Login to Remove!

I heard somewhere, that using instant messaging, on internet etc over phone, actually uses up texts, is this true? I am on an unlimited data package and well, was looking forward to using msn messenger for free... 8900 btw.

Thanks in advance guys.

Some do, some don't, depends on the app you are using. BBM uses data. I think AIM might be TM based, but not 100% certain, since I don't use it.

IM+ and BeeJive (applications for IM that will connect to Windows Messenger) both use data.
