Default Delete emails on client, but leave on BB

Please Login to Remove!

I am wondering if there is a way to delete my emails on my email client (school email), but leave them on my BB? By delete I mean that they are sent to a trash folder; they aren't permanently deleted. The reason I want to do this is because when I view my email through a PC it does not separate the emails by day. Therefore, not staying up to date leaves me with a long list of emails to sort thought. I do want to be able to keep the emails on my BB that I move to the trash on the server that way I can refer to them later on my BB if I need to. Thanks!

The problem you might run into however is a memory issue. When a BB begins to run low on Memory, it will delete call logs and email to get more space. Just keep that in mind.

If you use Outlook as your PC client you can separate by day. Same with Thunderbird.

Unfortunately, selecting the keep forever option does not keep the email from deleting on my Blackberry once I have moved it to the trash on the client side. Any other suggestions?

You can mark is as Saved on the BlackBerry and it will remain in your Saved Items folder, though that folder is not visible unless you use the Menu key to view it.

You could turn Wireless Reconcile off for that account. That should correct your delete issues, but doing so will not mark messages as read either.
