Default Data sizes - Internet (GPRS) Rate

I will be internationally and figured out that my roaming data rates are $.015/kb. Approximately how much data is consumed per email - 1kb? Are attachments only "included " if I actually attempt to launch them?

Default

1Kb would be an aufal small email. It's more like 5-10Kb or so. Your Blackberry won't download the attachments unless you open them.
