Default General (Easy) BB Questions

Please Login to Remove!

Still in my first few days with my BB (8330) so these questions might be dumb...don't laugh

1. I have a 2GB microSD card in...how many ringtones and themes would you say are safe to keep on the phone before it becomes too many? (How many before the phone starts to slow down?)

2. How do I move an icon from the big list to one of the 5 displayed on the "main screen"?

Thanks in advance!

If you keep the music files on the sd card then this should not affect the performance of the device. Installing lots of apps and having a lot of apps running, will affect the performance of the device.

To move an icon, highlight the icon, activate the BlackBerry menu (left of trackball), select the move option and then move the icon to one of the top 4 or 5 icons in the first row, then pressed the trackball in and that will set the icon in that position.

Is there a special way to move the ringtones onto the card?

You can connect your device to your computer and the sd card should show up like a flash drive (you need to make sure that mass storage is on on the device in the Options|Memory Card). Then you can transfer the files into the respective folder on the sd card.
