Default Confirm Mark Prior Open vs Mark Prior Open

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Guys, I am using 8320 and I am confused with the 2 functions: Confirm Mark Prior Open and Mark Prior Open.

Can anyone be kind enough to explain? Thanks a million

You would use "Mark prior opened" if you want to mark all messages prior to that date as read. You must have a date highlighted in order for that menu item to appear. Otherwise you would only get "Mark opened" which would only mark that message as read.

If you set the Confirm function in Options to Yes, then the BB would ask you if you really want to mark them opened. If set to no, once you click on "Mark Opened" or "Mark prior opened" it will just do it immediately without asking.

Hope this explains it.
