Angry Help! I somehow messed up my BB

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everone,
I got in contact with an old 950 and I let my friend see it.
However I forgot I had a password set and he tried 10 time to guess it,
On the 10th try, it said, erasing data and when it rebooted my opetions icon was gone!
Is there a way to get it back? or am i sol

Unless you were able to backup ur data before this happened and could restore that, ur options about about zero.

The after 10 tried is a security feature where the BB will erase the sensitive data. Backing up and NOT forgetting your password is critical.

wow. your friend must be a moron because it is VERY difficult to get to that point. The blackberry does everything to warn you. There are several warnings before it actually happens and even gives you a great big warning on your last attempt that if you get it wrong that it's toasting all the memory.

I think you need new friends. ;)
