Default Sametime 8 & Blackberries

Please Login to Remove!

When you upgrade your BES environemnt to 4.1.6 and above its possibel to use Sametime 8 with your environment.

What specific advantages are there in doing that from the Blackberry users point of view. Do they get any extra services beyond presence awareness and chat as a result from their Blackberries?

They can chat on SameTime to any using SameTime 8 from their BlackBerries.

No thats useful to know. So the specific advantage is that if we did a general upgrade to Sametime 8 in our environment it would not have worked on Blackberries unless we had also upgraded our BES to 4.1.6 or above.
