If I log into Yahoo from my BBerry and send an email can it be traced to me, my tmobile acct and/or my BBerry?

My IP shows up as a BBerry server in Canada.

Doing something you are worried about? A court order can probably get just about anything traced. Just depends on how much the requester wants to spend and how quickly he/she needs it. From what I understand, ISPs are required to keep records for some period of time, including Yahoo, AOL, etc.

IMHO, if you are worried about it, always assume the worst and don't send it.

It's nothing that would require a court order BUT if the other party wanted to hire a computer wiz, could they do it?

It would show that the IP address that logged into Yahoo was RIM's server, but let's not forget that if it get into legal via Law Enforcement that they can get Yahoo to tell them exactly where the account was created in the first place when it was established.....
