Default Question about emailing and looking up contacts

Please Login to Remove!

To send an email I start typing in the name of the person the email is addressed to. However, many people in my address book have multiple emails. So in order to make sure I am sending it to the correct email I must type in the name and then go check all the emails in another folder. This takes a lot of time. I was wondering if there was any way to set up your phone so that when i type in a name the email addresses associated with that name show up?

Thanks!

On my bold, if you start typing a name for an email, and that contact has more than one email, it pops up asking whch email to send to.

Same here.

I'm guessing you aren't going far enough into drafting the email. You'll get the option to choose the email address once you select the contact.

I also have a 8830 running 4.5.x.x and if a contact has more that one address after selecting the contact, it ask me what e-mail I want to send it to. If you are not using 4.5 maybe is time to upgrade OS

Regards
