RIM composite device problem
Hi I'm a newbie and I'm having problems with my BB curve not finding the device for this RIM composite device. Can some please tell me what to do to fix the problem. I have took the phone back to sprin, they gave me another brand new phone and it still won't sync. I'm sure someone else has had this Problem.I have tryed every thing. I even called BB suport. I like the phone, but I'm about to try to get something else if I can't sync it to back up my contacts. PLEASE, PLEASE someone help me.
What are you trying to sync to? Did you install the latest Desktop Manager?

Exactly when does the problem occur when syncing?
Did you install the BlackBerry Desktop Software onto your pc? When you sync you do it through the BlackBerry Desktop Software to MS Outlook. It's Windows-only so if you're a Mac user you will need either PocketMac or Missing Sync instead of the BlackBerry Desktop Software and Outlook.
When you connect through USB, make sure you're not connecting through a USB hub. Make sure you're connecting the cable directly from your BlackBerry to the pc. You might also try a different USB port on your computer.
