Default Email/Calls Forward

Please Login to Remove!

I did a search and read through many threads but they were not the same question. There were a few very close but somehow the question was answered that it was capable...but didnt explain how to do it.

I am trying to avoid carrying around 2 phones, personal and business. I would like to forward calls and work emails to my personal Samsung Impression. I plan on only doing this when I leave work and undoing it when I arrive to work. I sit in front of my laptop ALL day(ugh!) so do not need this during the day.

I understand that Samsung Impression does not support Outlook/BES and I am ok with this. I do not plan on opening up every email but rather just the ones that need immediate attention. I would like to forward emails to Yahoo that delivers emails sent there pretty fast to my Samsung.

Call Forwarding will be nice, too.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I found call forwarding on the phone but it allows me only two choices, voicemail number or Do Not Forward. How do I add my personal cell #?

Change Do Not Forward and you should have the option to add the number you wish to forward to.

Carriers charge for call forwarding. You may want to checking on the cost for AT&T.

I don't believe you can automatically forward emails from the BB to another email account. It would have to be done on the email server side, not the phone. Some companies (such as the one I work for) prohibit this, especially to POP3 and IMAP services.
