Smile Please help this noob choose the right BB

Admittedly I'm still in the stone age.. but will be trading in our old Razr's for BBs this month and switching from AT and T to Sprint service. It's personal, but we can't stand AT and T. My husband works at a school and needs to be able to easily get his email from 3 different campuses.

Can someone help us choose which model to get please? I'd really appreciate your feedback. I've done some research, but my head is still spinning, and then I found this forum. I think this forum will be of much help to me as I begin my BB journey.

Our choices are, the Curve 8330, Pearl 8130, Curve 8150I or should I wait a couple weeks for the new Tour?

Voice quality is important to me, especially a clear speakerphone. Also internet browsing, getting my email so I'd like an easy to read clear screen. Would be nice if I could see the screen in the sun as well. Excellent camera / video would be great, and great sounding music would be a bonus! The GPS system is also important (I think they all have them, right?)

Seriously, I haven't had a new phone in several years was amazed at what they can do. I'm on the internet alot, work from home, and this will make it even more portable Hopefully they are easy to use and my learning curve won't be too significant.

Thanks so much, I look forward to your responses.

Just make sure Sprint provides the coverage you need when in where you need it - where you live, work, travel and play. That should be the first consideration.

Have you been to a Sprint store to look at the models? Personally, I would not go for the 8350I since it is for Nextel. Of the 8330 and 8130, you need to go try them out as they are quite different. The 8330 has a QWERTY keypad and the 8130 uses SureType - you will either love it or hate it. If he responds to a lot of email, the 8330 might be the best.

But the best advice I can give is:

1. Make sure Sprint has the service when and where you need it.

2. Go to a Sprint store and play with the various models. I believe they will let you try one out for a few days as well, so take one for a test drive and see how you like it.

I myself recently made the switch to BB and chose the Curve 8330. Of all the phones that I have had previously, I have no complaints and absolutely love my Curve. But I must agree with the above post, after deciding if Sprint is the right carrier for you, get a feel for the phone in person before you make a final choice. Some phones just don't "feel right" or even look right in person, but it's all a matter of personal preferece.
