I have had some major calendar synchronisation problems between my 8900 and Microsoft Outlook.
I have lost my entire calendar in Outlook and had to restore from a backup that I had.
The latest issue is that the calendar on the phone seenms to only hold around 195 entries and loose all the rest. So when I sync it wants to delete most of my calendar items in Outlook. I want to keep my entire calendar on both the phone and Outlook
I have had to force a one way sync from outlook to the device to restore all my calendar history on my phone. When I then do a 2 way sync all seems fine except that a few days later the problem reoccurs.
The synchronisation setup is as follows
2-way sync between the device and Outlook
The correct folders have been mapped ie Calendar<---->Personal folders/calendar
I have set the sync to transfer all scheduled items

On the phone under calendar, options, general options,actions, i have set the phone to keep appointments forever
Please can someone try help explain what is going wrong here
