Inser Sim message on 8800
Hi I've recently bought an 8800. It worked fine for a week, then I got this message on the display "insert sim card".
The sim card is inserted ok. I've tried other sim cards and still get the same message. Please help!:-(
Call your wireless provider and ask them verify your SIM card is provisioned for blackberry data plan.
Also, inserting SIM card on 8800 models could be tricky, I had same issue few days ago when card inserted to 8800 didn't work. I have found I put it wrong way. It fit nicely, unfortunately, so there was no indication I did anything wrong other than message on screen similar to yours.
