Default Inser Sim message on 8800

Please Login to Remove!

Hi I've recently bought an 8800. It worked fine for a week, then I got this message on the display "insert sim card".

The sim card is inserted ok. I've tried other sim cards and still get the same message. Please help!

Call your wireless provider and ask them verify your SIM card is provisioned for blackberry data plan.

Also, inserting SIM card on 8800 models could be tricky, I had same issue few days ago when card inserted to 8800 didn't work. I have found I put it wrong way. It fit nicely, unfortunately, so there was no indication I did anything wrong other than message on screen similar to yours.
