Default Backlight/Power Drain Question

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,
Can anyone help me with this query? Two days ago my 8110 decided to keep the backlight on permanently, i`ve checked the settings and changed it to 10seconds but to no avail. This means my battery is draining within a few hours...anyone have a fix for this issue?

try pulling the battery out for about a minute. put it back in and make sure the settings correct.

sorted, realised i`d left my vodafone sat nav running in the background for two days without closing it..preparing myself for a big billno doubt

Oh my God, if the satnav program was using a constant data connection, and you're on a limited data plan, .......
This could get ugly!
