Default should I get a 7100i? or should I be worried about outcome of lawsuit?

I am thinking of getting a 7100i. I am worried though if I buy one, it will not work for long because of the lawsuit against RIM. Should I be? or will it continue to work even if they lose.

I would not worry about it. RIM has several different avenues they can turn to if they lose the suit. However, them losing seems like a long shot a this point. NTP just plays into the media and this is where all the reports come from. Dont believe everthing you read.

I would also say not to worry. There are several ways this could end up, and the most likely thing at this point is a settlement. A settlement was reached a few months back, but was never completed. RIM is trying to get the courts to enforce this settlement. I also understand that many high profile government agencies use blackberrys to communicate. That should help.
