Default Scheduling when mail is sent to deivce?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

This may be a silly question, but I've Google'd this for a while and haven't gotten any answers...

Is there a way (setting, third party app, etc) to schedule when to receive certain e-mails to your BlackBerry? For an example, I don't want my corporate e-mail coming to my phone while I'm at work (BIS service, not using BES). But, at 5pm, I'd love it if my work e-mails started coming to my phone without having to log into BIS and enable/disable filters.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Tim

It's not possible to do this.

Thanks for the quick reply. Looks like I just have to stop being lazy and remember to enable it before I leave work

Yup. You would have to log into your BIS page and uncheck the boxes for each account that say "forward email to handheld". Later you would have to re-check those boxes to turn it back on. I'm not sure if the email sent to those accounts while forwarding was off would then be sent to your BlackBerry or not.

It does not, at least for me, forward the messages that were sent while forwarding is off. That's the part that sucks. If it did that, I'd be ok.

I'd recommend just setting up an "at work" profile if you just don't want to be alerted but you do want the email.
