Question Hello all....

Please Login to Remove!

Good Afternoon every1,
I just upgraded my cell last week to the BBCurve 8330 and im loving it so far can't sit it down without playing with it LOL, i just have a couple of question right now. friend of mine told me to download the latest Desktop manager instead of using the CD that came it? anyways i downloaded 470_b059_english but have not ran the install yet make sure it was right version?

My second question is can i make Sub Folders on the Media card where you see the list of them such as Pictures, Rongtones Etc, Etc, i want to be able to open a folder say Ringtones and make a new folder inside that one and name it "My Ringtones" ( without the "" ofcourse ) so i can use that folder for my assigned Ringers for friends. Thankyou for reading and giving answers.

P.S. Im a newbie on here

The version of DM that you've downloaded should be fine.

Yes you can make subfolders on your media card. You can connect your device to your computer and manipulate it just like a flash drive. So you can create the folders via Windows Explorer and copy over your files, and the BlackBerry will recognize it when you disconnect the device. Remember to turn on Mass Storage on the device to get this working.

Welcome and glad that you're having endless fun with your device. This is only the beginning!

Then you're good to go. You can now access you're sd card and device memory just like a flash drive.
