LCD & Other Issues

I am having issues, my BOLD's LCD has gone and is unusable, now i am trying to backup all the info via BB Manager and am having no luck, it gets stuck on connecting to device and nothing has happened, the device has a simple password on it, which it prompts me for when i attach the device via USB and it does show the device PIN, i just cant get access to any of the DB (contacts for me being the most important), the device is not on a BES.

any help in recovering the data would be appreciated.

Ensure that you are entering the simple password correctly. What you may think is "111" on the phone may actually be "www" on the PC, or "123" is actually "wer".
