Default Remove "Sent by Blackberry"

Please Login to Remove!

Does anyone know how to remove the Sent by Blackberry message from an email.

I access my email by setting up my personal account (just entering an email address) and I don't have a BIS and my work doesn't have a BES (hope I got those correct). I tried to look in every single setting and could find nothing that resembles a signature option, but I'm sure I"m missing something.

I'm on a BB Curve 8900

You have BIS and AFAIK, that is the only way to change it. If you aren't on BES and you have a BB data plan and are sending and receiving email, then you have BIS.

From the FAQ: How do I edit the "Sent from my BlackBerry®..." message? - BlackBerryFAQ

I access my ATT BIS here: https://bis.na.blackberry.com/html?brand=mycingular

Ok, please forgive my greenness....

But I tried to set up my bb account on ATT and it said I was unable to do it via HTML - that I had to do it via blackberry. So, I went into my BB and set up a personal email. Are you suggesting I need to set up a username(at)att.blackberry.com account too?

I thought that was the correct way to do things (set up the blackberry account) because it says you need to set up the blackberry account to send/receive email, but apparently this isn't true because I've been sending and receiving email without it.

Sorry to spread my confusion......

You go to the link Dubdub posted for ATT BIS, log in, and edit the signature of each account separately.

Ok, this is what I did.......

I have tried to log in as a new user (I just rec'd my device today) and it said I could not register via HTML. I cannot log in!

I asked for a password reminder....and sure enough, it was sent to my device and the message said:
"You asked to have your pw sent to your device. User name and password doesn't exist. Please use your device to access BIS"

FYI: I entered the PIN # found on my device box to get the above message sent to me.

I went into my BB and typed the address in the earlier post in a browser window and I rec this message:
"the site cannot be accessed in this manner. Please use the URL or link provided to you by your service provider."
I've gone to the BB site and selected ATT (my provider) for the BIS address and got the same error.

I'll keep working on it......

Smile thanks

Well, I logged into bis successfully by going to wifi on my bb.... I was able to change my signature very easily. I have no idea why accessing bis through EDGE wasn't working. A switch to my home wifi let me access it

Thanks for the quick responses!!!!
