Default recieving old sms and emails

Please Login to Remove!

I have had a recurring but not to annoying situation on my 8100, where an sms will repeat day after day for a few days. Usually it is a long text and it goes away after at most a week. Today however I received three old emails - from April 14th and 15th. Really threw me as I at first thought they were new and was feeling a bit of deja vu. However when I checked my email on work computer they were not there... only on my blackberry.
WHAT???
anyone experience this before?

It might not be your Blackberry, but your actual email - I had the same problem a few months ago - I had to delete emails from the specific sender which is repeating from my server to fix it.

I believe the email problem is as you say a server problem. The sms issue is a different animal however. today and the last four days I have a sms that was sent a week ago coming up on the phone when it turns on in the morning. I have noticed all normal messages popping right up with one exception, the repeater. it will list the message as "recieving" for a 10-15 min period and then there it is.
