I currently use BWC (personal) and BES (work). Is there any reason that my folders would not show up on a BES email when I click view folders? i set up wireless syncing today and right now the incoming mail is diabled because it is connected to the laptop. I had a coworker send me a test message after disconnecting the 7250 and I tried to file the email to see if the wireless sync would work, but it did not list all of my folders that are in Lotus. If I go into random messages (BES email) my folders show when I select file. Any thoughts?

I get an email from corporate Lotus on a BES. I hit the trackwheel, select file and only see web client (twice) inbox, draft, sent and trash. If this is synch wirelessly with my desktop, why cant I file messages away on the BB?

There are a number of threads on this site dealing with these issues. I've been involved in several of them. Several people, including me have had similar problems when setting up BIS and BES email accounts to work together. I am on Cingular and the problems went away after I completely wiped by handheld, installed the most recent OS, activated enterprise, and then set up the BIS (including sending service books again). But, I have no basis to think that the order of doing this made a difference.

Once the problem is resolved, please note that you will never see ALL folders when trying to file an email. You will see the folders for the client the email came in on (BES folders for BES email; BIS folders for BIS email). You can see the entire tree of folders (BES and BIS) when you go to select to view a particular folder, but not when filing. (If there is a way to file a BIS email in a BES folder, I haven't seen a post from anyone who has been able to do it.)

Thanks for your reply. I read almost every post on here relating to this issue by changing up my search terms. I have the most recent OS on my BB. I know that you will not be able to file BIS emails in BES folders, but I have yet to see a step by step resolution. Even from the topics relating to this problem, I have not seen how to wipe your BB. Even if I cannot get step by step assistance, maybe you can suggest a new search term. I will try again and see what I get.

If you've tried rebooting (pulling battery) and gotten nowhere, then try this: disable your BIS email on the BIS website (just so it stops sending messages to BB); back up the BB on Desktop Manager; disconnect from Desktop Manager and wipe the handheld (Settings/Options/Security/select Wipe Handheld from trackwheel; don't think you need to mess with javaloader to completely wipe handheld OS; I didn't); install the newest OS (run the .exe file on computer and then hook up BB and run Desktop Manager); after OS is installed, reactivate Enterprise (you may have to ask your IT admin to reset your activation passcode; and activation may take an hour or more sometimes, so be patient); reenable your BIS email AND resend your BIS service books.

That's what worked for me. Been working flawlessly now for some time. Let me know either way, success or failure.

Yes, on your BIS website. I use Cingular, so it might not be the same for you on Nextel. On the Cingular BIS website, you go to "Profile" and then click the button at the bottom of the page.
