Hi guys!
First off I don't have a blackberry. I'm probably going to get one when my contract is up with at&t very very soon. However, my current phone is a Sony Ericsson W580i and has this neat little fitness thing built into it that I have grown to be obsessed with. It has a pedometer in it and tracks the miles I go everyday and tells me how many calories I have burned. It also has a stopwatch and a running feature that records my distance and time. I'm wondering if any of the blackberrys have any kind of feature or maybe an app to add that will do something to this nature. Thanks

they dont have them built in
there may be a 3rd party app, but i would think that the pedometer is partly hardware, which a blackberry doesnt have.

An app like that doesn't come onboard BlackBerrys-but there may be a third party app that will meet your needs. Check out the BlackBerryAPPS Store or the Aftermarket Software section:

Wirelessly posted (Bold 9000)

There are apps that will use the GPS to record your path and distance.

The clock feature should have a stopwatch and timer built in.

AllSport GPS is an excellent software solution. It maps your trip by activity (cycling, running, etc), and sends it to a web portal. It even calculates calories burned, average speed, etc.
