Default Blackberry Enterprise New Phone

Please Login to Remove!

Hello I have an older blackberry as a work phone and it is configured on the company's blackberry enterprise server. I have a much newer phone that I would like to carry rather than the bulkier company phone. Since the phone is configured on the BES can I simply switch SIM cards and the new phone recieve all calls and emails from the company BES server or does the administrator need to change some settings on the Server?

Welcome to the forums.

The BES Admin will need to know as that device will need to be activated on the BES.

No, its not the SIM the BES recognises and is linked with, its the device PIN.
So you would have to contact your BES admin to have them activate your new device on the BES.
