Im trying to find a way around getting BES...

I already have an exchange hosted account (NO BES)

I have a computer that can run redirector 24/7 so i have no trouble with the emails

The main issue is, what to do to manually sync my contacts and stuff..on my main daily use computer.

Can I run, 2 desktop manager's ?

If you are running an exchange account, then you can just log in to exchange on your main daily computer as well and any changes will be reflected in all exchange locations. Assuming you are able to login to more than one location, of course. I haven't had a problem doing this in the past, although I suppose all servers differ.

You can run Desktop Manager and sync your device on multiple computers.

However, I would recommend BES, as it'll make life easier. I used to hate deleting emails on my BB and my email accounts.....its great having everything in sync.

ya BES is a good way..but i have access to outlook web access nearly everywhere..the bberry wil be more of an "email alert" kinda thing...

Since 4.1 is almost out, i will sync bberry to computer...as for the emails , redirector can take care of it...so maybe BES wont be needed...

The only thing is, the redirector will be working on a computer, in closet on 24/7...

The computer i usually use will be used to daily sync my contacts and all...

Thats why i might need to run 2 desktop manager's at the same time .

The one that's running 24/7 (in closet) can run desktop redirector.

Install desktop manager with the blackberry internet email option for the one that you'll use to sync your PIMs, that way you won't have the desktop redirector option on that computer but you'll still have intellisync to synchronize your information with your mail client.

ya i though that should be the way to do it..but here's what happend:

i already had my contacts, and tasks and all that on my exchange account..when i synced..my bberry with it..it duplicated everything..i guess what ill do is erase everything on exchage, and sunc again!
