I am using the Curve with the latest phone and desktop manager software
Nothing will synchronize now. The progress shows things being transferred. I have tried both the dual direction synch or the synch from outlook to the Curve. I get no error messages. I tried reinstalling the synch software with no results.
Ideas?

hmm thats odd. habe you tried taking the battry out? and have you backed up the phone recently?

have taken out battery.
I had trouble last month with an error message stopping the synch. Everything worked fine until last week. It shows everything going smoothly and even shows it is transferring the updated records (i recognize I made 2 changes in the task and it shows 2 additional being added)

ok so your saying that it shows it is updating the phone properly but when the process is complete that nothing has changed? sorry just trying to understand a little better.

do you also have the current OS for your curve?

No problem on the question. That's right: it shows a proper synchronization operation but nothing shows up on the BlackBerry.
I have the latest versions of both OS. I'm downloading and reinstalling desktop manager now to see if it makes a difference.
I didn't set this up so I wonder if this makes a difference. I am not trying to download "calender" to the device. I am trying to download "w richard staton calendar" I don't know if that's a different setting or what.

ok so i checked out some stuff on my bb desktop mamager and i dont seem to be having issues with it. hopefully when you are done reinstalling the program the problem will fix itself. sorry i could not be of more help.

outloook 2003 with all latest service packs

desktop manager 4.7 (re installed tonight)

Search your computer for a file called "ScanPST.exe" find and use it to scan your ".pst" files.

To find your PST file do another search for ".PST"

Have you tried Desktop Manager 4.5 or 4.6, those 3 are essentially the same thing.

When was the last you downloaded Desktop Manager 4.7, RIM updates the desktop manager but doesn't tell anyone.

No it works fine

Did that; no errors. Also did detect and repair

It's set to automatically download updates.

Search your computer for a folder called "Intellisync" delete it.

That folder holds the sync settings for Desktop Manager. Next time you launch the desktop reset and reconfigure the desktop manager Synch
