Default Welding

My 8350i failed a few days ago and I don't know why, the only extraordinary situation it was exposed to was during welding. The phone has beeen replaced and all, I was just wondering if that could be the source of the failure, being that welding puts out high frequency signals.

Wirelessly posted (overwhelmingly stressed)

What was the phone doing?

I work in a steel manufacturing environment and my friend who works with me is a welder and his iPhone is now a paper weight.

Probably has less to do with frequency than the extreme heat and (possibly) debris flaoting around in the air. I don't know of a wireless device that would last very long unprotected in a welding environment.

You might try some sort of heavy duty case like an Otter Box.
