My curve 8300 was working fine till yesterday , i am using desktop manager ver 4.7, i found that got some updated software for my bb i updated them and now whenever i turn my cam on it gives garbage ( like no driver installed on computer or with 16 color pics ) both on cam and video recording though it is recording videos but with the same garbage result and if i try to take pic the screen goes white.
Did try to reload my previous OS but the result is same.
any one knows or have any idea what to do .

The only thing I can think of, and I am not a Blackberry expert, is to research this forum for a hard reset, not the type that you pull out the battery, but where you scrub the phone back to way it was when you pulled it out of the box. I am guessing that whatever you loaded into your blackberry is remaining there even after you attempted to reload the previous operating system.

you mean a wipe not a hard reset.

what i dont understand about the original question is it starts off by mentioning updating the BB, then starting a cam, which talks about windows drivers and suggests a webcam attached to the PC, and then talks again about the BB.
