Default Contacts field problem!

Please Login to Remove!

Hey everyone, I'm a new blackberry user.

I use a mac (but have access to windows if needed). I transfered my contacts from my nokia e71 to my mac. Many numbers have more than one mobile or home number etc...

The blackberry does not seem to support this concept, hopefully I'm wrong.

How can i get my contacts to be just like they are in the nokia, with each contact having more than one of the same field? I'm willing to buy 3rd party software if there is one!

Thanks a lot.

Kenan.

you have the ability to have work, work 2, home, home 2, mbile, pager fax, and other.
You cannot add fields.

so there isn't any other software that i can use instead of the blackberry one?
i really need to have more than one of the same field to be synced to my bb instead of doing them one by one!

BB is great except for this one tiny thing!

It will sync the contacts fine, except where it has more than one mobile number, i dont know what field it will put it in.

i.e. you have mobile and mobile 1 for example.
there is only one field in the contacts on the BB for mobile. it will sync mobile to mobile, then put mobile 1 in another field, or not sync it.

thats the way it'll do it
theres no way around that
you'll just have to enter the second number yourself in another field
