Does anyone know if it is possible to have separate category lists defined for contacts and anothe list defined for tasks?

You can create separate categories for each of those, but I think they will show up as options under both the contacts and tasks. That's normal.

Thanks Trimix for the response. I wasn't sure if the categories being the same in both was normal or it was a carry over from switching from a Palm device (long ago) to a BB.
