The LED indicator at the top of my screen for my 9000 bold wont stop blinking red and I dont have any new voice mails,calls,text,emails,etc could there be something else out there that wont stop the blink ? Like maybe current updates ? I'm running 4.6.0.167 is that the most current for the bold and if so where can I get this at ? Also I tried searching and could not find nothing. Thanks

Yeah I do that and when I take it out and put it back in it stays like solid red
for like 5 seconds and then powers the phone on and continues to blink red.

Not sure if this can help; but I had the opposite problem, my red LED light didn't flash anymore. I actually took the battery off like 4 times and it didn't work. Now, if you lately charged it through your computer (via USB) or if you connected it to your computer to sync something, then go connect it again and wait, I think that should work, I hope it does since it did for me. Let me know if this was of any help.

I tried taking the battery out of the phone and it still has not worked for me. Is there a good guide I can follow in how to restore/update my blackberry. I am coming from an iPhone and updating on there is SOO! simple on the blackberry its very complicated that's the only downfall to having a blackberry for me. Can someone please help?
