Default BB Phone # Recognition Issues

Please Login to Remove!

I have a BB Curve 8330.

I have many numbers programed in but here is my issue:

I have my home phone lets say its 123-456-7890

My provider has a call forward function- thus if I dial *72#123-456-7890 my calls will be forwarded to my home number.

The problem is that the BB cannot distinguish between the two programmed numbers and always thinks the call forward # is calling when my wife calls me from home.
It shows that *72#123-456-7890 is calling when its really 123-456-7890 calling and displays the wrong caller.

Its not a big deal, but it should be correct.

It appears that the BB cannot properly link the number received in the call display info to its address book.

Any comments?
