I know this is irrelevant somehow, but in the country I live in, it is very critical to control the mgbs one uses. My phone seems to be consuming too much without me doing anything or using anything other than the BB-Messenger, and I use only text messages, no voice clips, no pictures, (some exceptions offcourse), I don't even open my explorer. I need help, my question is, is there anything (program/application) that is automated and keeps synchronizing from the internet and thus consuming my mgbs. Or am I underestimating the consumption of text messaging? If so, how much does it consume approximately to continually text through BB messenger?

Yes, by MGBS I mean MBs, sorry for the wrong abreviation.
And I'm referring here to mbs downloaded from internet, or mbs you consume from the internet. Hope I'm making myself clear.

If you're on BES, there is.

Even if you're not email sent/received will count (though each message should be pretty small). What apps are you running on your BB?

BBM does not use text messaging. It counts as data. Usage depends on how much you use BBM. I don't know how it is on the BB but on a PC 1 character is typically 1 byte.
